About This Project

Rowland Emett’s illustration in Punch magazine and his whimsical sculptures, have always been an inspiration to me. And so, I was of course drawn to make some models for my own amusement. The models are scratch built from plastics, clay and wood. The locomotive, Nellie, is a resin cast kit from Smallbrook Studios on a small Hornby OO locomotive chassis. The track is O-16.5 (16.5mm).
